Abstract Number 3

I try not to "Name" my abstracts as I like everyone to create their own thoughts and impressions from what they see.

This piece came about whilst trying a few different techniques. I was originally working on paper. However as that material was giving me grief I moved to canvas and this piece was created.

Mixed Media - mainly acrylic and oils on canvas 50cm wide x 40 cm high and 4cm deep.

I comes with two coats of varnish for that bit of extra protection and has a wire across the back ready for hanging.

The sides are painted, however I believe it looks more complete in a light timber floating frame.
